Hi Grandma,

This is my first entry and I can promise you this it won't be my last.

I just want to wish you a massive Happy 74th Birthday!

These last 7 years without you have been so hard, they say time is a great healer but because you play such a big role in not just my life but my Mam's, Dad's, Granddad and of course your other Grandson Andrew it's just made things a lot harder. The hole that was left in our family no body in the world could fill it you were life, soul, spine, heart beat and everything else that kept this big family together.

From the first day I was born (obviously i don't remember the earlier days as i was a baby haha) but from day one you were always by my side not matter what decision I made even if you disagree or agreed with it. I hold so many Memories close to my heart like all the ones down at Walker all the laughs we had all the films we would sit down and watch together but the funniest would be when you would try and play Star Wars with me but because I had my own way of doing things everything you tried was wrong haha but that's why you were best because you would just keep trying and wouldn't take no for an answer.

I always remember getting the phone call from you when i was at Home and you had bought me my first set of Green Bowling Balls and you were so excited to tell me and get me started. Another bunch of memories created by just the two of us.

Now the food you made me WOW home made Chips were the best!! and you desert cakes WOW!! the best!! Mam would always tell you off as all that sugar and unhealthiness would have me bouncing off walls but you just loved to see me that way so it was worth it and secretly Mam loved it as well.

Our 2 weeks in Florida were the best, Me, Mam, Dad and Yourself had a great time, you definitely got the Disney feeling as they say. it's a shame our Andrew wasn't there with us. I just wish we got the last holiday with you all of us.

A lot has happen in 7 years with me I started working at Mam's place ScS been here now 6 years, I've met two girls first one lets not talk about that didn't work out but I've met Rebecca and nothing could be better we've been together about 2 years now and we've done a lot within that time we've been to Florida to Disneyland, we spent our first Christmas in Edinburgh(I feel lover ice skating to Rebecca's delight) but the biggest thing was on the 14th February 2017 we bought a HOUSE! we've had to wait 6 months killed us but all worth it in the end we moved in 14th September 2017.

I really wish you were here to see it all finished, you would love it!

I know i've babbled on for a bit it was only meant to be a birthday message but it's the first time i've actually sat down and wrote to you. It's took me 7 years but i've finally managed to do it.

i'll write again to you soon, i love and miss you so much!!
